Wright Now LLC Registered Apprenticeship (RA) Industry Intermediaries are integral stakeholders in the Department of Labor’s (DOL) effort to expand the number of RA opportunities across industries in Memphis, TN. We Target rural communities, encourage increased participation of underrepresented populations being served in Registered Apprenticeship Programs. Bring the Registered Apprenticeship model to more industries and improve RAP completion rates.
We also provide wrap around support services and competency-based apprenticeship. Formal services – including research-based interventions as appropriate to build skills and meet youth and family needs – together with community services and interpersonal support and assistance. Our Industry Intermediaries uniquely positioned to convene employers within an industry or sub-sector to determine skill needs and workforce trends and to work with employers to develop apprenticeship programs with the goal of increasing the number of apprenticeship opportunities.

WRIGHT NOW LLC- a Certified Minority Business Enterprise & Small Business Enterprise, a Business Workforce Solution Virtual Center located in Memphis, TN. We are a Registered Pre-apprenticeship & Apprenticeship program who sponsor, train, retain and recruit employer partners, educators and career seekers.
Our team of Industry Intermediaries help create new sector-based apprenticeship partnerships at the local level. We serve the underrepresented communities' rural target industries in Memphis, TN engaging employers and industry; leverage key partnerships; reduce program development time for key occupations and increase the number of new apprentices. Research, document, and advocate for best practices, and build public and political support for apprenticeships and other work-based learning programs. We work directly with you and U.S Department of Labor and Apprenticeship TN to expand existing innovative apprenticeship programs.

Registered Apprenticeship
An Apprenticeship is a proven training program that is used as a talent development strategy for recruiting, training and retaining world-class talent and has been used in industry for decades. Apprenticeship are registered and validated by the U.S. Department of Labor.
Apprenticeships are a work-based learning model where apprentices have supervised on-the-job training, along with job-related education, all while earning a wage that increases during the progression of the program.
Apprenticeship programs are intended for long-term employment.
Pre-Apprenticeship
A pre-apprenticeship program is coursework or training designed to prepare individuals to enter and succeed in a registered apprenticeship program. Once participants complete the pre-apprenticeship program, they will be able to interview with the employer to enter a registered apprenticeship program. A pre-apprenticeship program, by definition, has a documented partnership with at least one Registered Apprenticeship program. Pre-Apprenticeship Programs may or may not include a paid position with the employer.

Wright Now LLC pre-apprenticeship program is coursework and training designed to prepare individuals to enter and succeed in a registered apprenticeship program. Once participants complete the pre-apprenticeship program, they will be able to interview with onr of our employerpartners to enter a registered apprenticeship program. A pre-apprenticeship program, by definition, has a documented partnership with at least one Registered Apprenticeship program. Pre-Apprenticeship Programs may or may not include a paid position with the employer, but with our compan we have paid positions available.
